Police officer Jack Darrow is moonlighting, as a security guard at Smith & Smith department store when he encounters what he thinks is a shoplifter after closing time. She's the hottest shoplifter he'd ever seen. He wants to believe her excuse of not hearing the closing announcement. When she blurts out the reason for needing a heart stopping dress he feels even worse. Just looking at her in that dress had him forgetting all about his job and wondering what it would be like to see her out of it. Does he dare act on his desire? Kara Hadley can't believe her luck. She wasn't a shoplifter and she really, really didn't want to spend the night in jail. All she wanted was to find the sexiest dress she could so that she could wear it to her divorce hearing. She didn't want her husband back, but she wanted him to remember exactly what he was losing. The way the sexy security guard was looking at her made her forget all about her soon to be ex. Now she was thinking what it would be to let him have his way with her. Eton was successful in packing this short story with plenty of emotion and desire. The scenes flow smoothly keeping you interested in the characters and their goals.
