A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Sapphire
BLOOD HERO opens with Rihat seeking the gods help with saving his sister. He is a passion filled warrior hell bent on protection. When he meets Iltani, Rihat is willing to do anything she asks if it means his sister's life. Even if it means turning him into, what readers know as, a vampire.
Iltani is a succubus; cursed to walk the earth in need of sustenance. All she wants is a warrior who will not fail her. When she meets Rihat in the temple, she can't help but wonder if he is her warrior. So she makes him a deal: serve her and he will have the power to save his sister from the demon terrorizing his home.
BLOOD HERO felt like it picked up in the middle of a novel. What little readers received was HOT HOT HOT! Grab a fan ladies! The action count in this story shared the limelight with the smoldering sex scenes. Readers will want more information on Rihat and Iltani's journey. The short word count of BLOOD HERO will not be enough!

When Rihat, a soldier in Babylon's army, discovers that his village is being terrorized by an akhazu demon, he seeks help at Marduk's temple. He meets Iltani, a demigoddess who's been cursed by Ishtar to live as an ardat-lili, enslaved by lust, a night-maiden who feeds on sexual energy.
Iltani offers Rihat the power to slay the akhazu, if he'll agree to serve her every need without question. But will the price of that power be more than Rihat can bear to pay?
