A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Silvermage

Malevolent Dead is the second book in the hot new Sarah Vargas paranormal series. Like book one this was a great read.

Sarah is once again dealing with trouble and is undercover with the vampire Damian as his wife. Of course she is in a tough situation. The werewolf attacks were surprising and well described. The blood drinking was sexy, hot and a bit creepy. The action kept the story moving and I thoroughly enjoyed the final battle.

The enemy Marcellus was a necro vampire and able to raise things from the dead. He sure was an interesting and creative enemy. By the end you are in for a major twist.

This series is great, but short. A longer version would be highly appreciated as these characters and the setting are one you can get lost in for hours.
