A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Tamazon
Insufficient Mating Material is set in a universe far far away. The people are very much like you and me. They have their hierarchy, princesses, and problems. The intrigue of far off worlds is much more interesting than our politics and I loved being involved in their lives. The Tigron Empire is a whole new place to explore. The princes are strong willed and the princesses uppity. A large portion of the story is focused on being stranded on an island and surviving off a foreign land. I totally felt ship wrecked. While shipwrecked Jason and princess Martia-Djulia have a huge tussle. They have been married and must find a way to accept each other. While surviving their plane crash the two are also up against a plot to kill them. Martia-Djulia must learn that Jason will not cater to all her needs; she must learn to survive along side him. With the passion flowing hot, and the strong will of the two, will they destroy each other or find an everlasting love. You will have to read Insufficient Mating Material to find out. Insufficient Mating Material was a fantastic sci-fiction romance. The first fifty pages were a bit of a struggle, but that was my fault. Insufficient Mating Material is the second book in a series and should be read secondly. The first book is Forced Mate. That said, after I got to know all of the character's I was off and running. Make sure to look at the family trees at the back off the book. That will help with the character connections. Ms. Cherry gives wonderful descriptions of the people and landscape. I felt as if I was on a different planet. This book invites you to try different food, clothes, and technology. I loved Ms. Cherry's specialty terms. They made the book even more off world sounding and believable. I now want to know what is going on in different universes - are we alone or are there full-blown societies for us to meet? If only we knew.

Book Blurb for Insufficient Mating Material
Shot down for failing to mate in public and marooned on an island with a princess, Djetth discovers that when a Tiger prince is honor bound to hide his true identity, when his best seductive tool bears a damning tattoo and his life is in danger, survival is about more than making out. But even in the wicked Tigron Empire, who would dare to attack a royal princess and her consort? So what if she had rejected his hand and turned her pretty nose up at his other princely parts? With the aid of two exiled empresses, some misplaced guitar glue, and a talent for disguises, he will prove his worth as a mate.
