Tattooed

Sometimes the smallest places can conceal the biggest, darkest secrets. This is the lesson that Kenzie Sloane, Kate Lange, and John McNally must learn to survive. A body has been uncovered in a bog, wearing a creepy Halloween mask, and has also unleashed a horrific chain of events that will leave no one unscathed. Seventeen years prior, Kenzie and John were dating, and on Halloween had a plan to commit a murder. Things didn’t go as planned, and their intended victim, Kate’s little sister, is killed in a car crash. John goes to prison, Kenzie runs away, and Kate grows up.

Seventeen years pass, and they all come together again. John is now a handyman bent on getting Kenzie back. Kenzie is a hugely successful tattoo artist, and Kate is a lawyer who has been hired to help Kenzie’s mother. Their lives all come crashing together in catastrophic fashion when the “bog body” is identified and the investigation into her murder is reopened. With Kenzie’s mother dying to keep her daughter’s secret and unite a family, a desperate man hell bent on revenge, and a lawyer caught up in the middle of all of this, it’s amazing that anyone could survive this terrifying adventure.

Tattooed is a phenomenal book. It moves incredibly fast, and blends the lives of all the characters together in a flawless manner. It is a story of love and loss, revenge, insanity, murder, and overall survival. Readers everywhere will adore this novel as much as I have.
