Olivia Bishop is boring and sexless. That is what she thinks she has become since her husband left her. Book clubs are her thing, not sexy bartenders tempting her like Jamie Donovan. He is definitely opposite from her husband yet something about him makes her libido skyrocket. For the first time she feels sexy and desirable in his eyes. Every woman she knows says to go for it with Jamie and just let loose. This is something that makes her heart thump wildly for one touch and kiss from Jamie just makes her go crazy. She knows a man like him can have any woman he wants. So her fears come back to her again. Can she be the woman Jamie Donovan needs?
If you want good times in bed call Jamie Donovan. This saying is all he hears every day working at the family brewery and he’s tired of it. When he was young Jamie Donovan loved doing it but lately he wants something more than just a good lay. He’s seen how happy his sister has become since finding love and now he wants that as well. He never expected to meet a woman like Olivia Bishop. She is definitely opposite of the women he has gone with and this just confuses him. Olivia is funny, smart, and sexy and for the first time has him thinking of love. Can he convince her that his love is real and not a joke?
Jamie and Olivia, two people opposite from one another yet so looking for one thing, love. I loved how Victoria Dahl created a man like Jamie Donovan to tempt Olivia yet she is afraid to fall head over heels in love. Jamie knows when love hits him but is afraid to actually believe in it. Now Olivia is one woman who knows what she wants, but her ex-husband really did number on her. All in all this was a good book and a first for me to read by Victoria Dahl. I definitely will look for more from this talented author. Great job!
Olivia Bishop is no fun. That's what her ex-husband said. And that's what her smart bob and glasses imply. So with her trademark determination, Olivia sets out to remake her life. She's going to spend time with her girlfriends and not throw it all away for some man. But when an outing with her book club leads her to a brewery taproom, the dark-haired beauty realizes that trouble-in the form of sexy Jamie Donovan-may be too tempting to avoid.
Jamie Donovan doesn't mean to be bad. Sure, the wild streak in his wicked green eyes has lured the ladies before. Now it's time to grow up. He's even ready for a serious romance. But how can that be when Olivia, the only right woman he has ever met, already has him pegged as wrong?
