Interview

Hi Artemis! It's great to have you on today. Thanks for joining us. What is your latest book, "The Tide Turns", about?

The Tide Turns is the story of Aquos, a water clan lord, who knows he's dying. He's been lost and alone for so long he's forgotten what warmth is. When he fell in love with Sally he thought he saw a glimpse of things like feeling wanted ... but she was clearly meant for Drake.

And then the impossible happens. One of his brothers, a friend since the beginning of time, did the unthinkable and struck a woman to bring her to their home. M.J. Storm was everything Aquos ever wanted ... and unbelievably, she seemed to want her to. But he keeps losing her. First due to a misunderstanding. Second due to his brother again showing a violent side none of them thought they had. And finally because he thought it would give her happiness.

Little does he realize MJ Storm is far more than she seems, but she definitely wants Aquos as much as he wants her.

The Tide Turns is, simply, what all my books are about. Two people who forgot they deserve to be loved, deciding to throw everything to the winds and take one more chance on someone else's heart.

What is your writing place like?

Where ever I can put down the laptop and turn off the world outside to focus on the one within.

If your home a place of order or chaos?

What's order? Never heard of it?

When it comes to your first draft, do you write via computer or notepad? or Both?

Computer, notepad is for notes and reminders.

Do you have any kids? Has your writing inspired them to read / write?

Four cats means no room for kids.

What's next for you as an author?

Feb. 14 we have an Omega Wedding

New installment in the Omega story coming out before the end of the year

And hoping to launch my King Arthur series soon.

Do you like to cook?

Love to.

Tell us about your cats. Do they play a part in your writing?

We have cats, and they play a part in the sense they control everyone and everything in the house.

What's your favorite restaurant?

My kitchen

At what point did you know you wanted to publish a book?

Birth.

What is our favorite drink?

Iced tea. No alcohol.

Do you feel music has inspired your writing?

Yes.

What's your day job like?

I rescue people's dreams.

Is there a book you would recommend to other authors / aspiring authors to help them with their writing?

Don't read books on how to write. Just read. The mechanics of it all can be figured out later, but first you need to sit down and finish something.

What place is on the top of your to travel to list?

I traveled extensively as a child. I'd like to go back to Seattle. I loved it there.

Do you have any books that are on your must read bucket list?

All books. I am insatiable where reading is concerned. Whole family are readers.

What genres do you write in and what inspired you to write in these genres?

Romance and romance and more romance. Why? I think the world needs as much love as we can put in it, so I am definitely happy where I am.

Anything else you would like to share?

Please keep buying. Keep talking and posting and tweeting about books. The more people read the more they understand each other and the power they possess. At no point in history was it more important for artists to do what they do ... and do it well. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing with us.

Thank you seems paltry compared to how I feel about the readers and their support. I am so happy that people seem to like these characters as much as I do writing them. I am so excited to see what else is going to happen. We are all on this ride together, and I'm just looking forward to the next chapter. xoxo and MWAH! to you all.
