Darkest Hour Before Dawn

THIRDS Book 9

In this newest addition to the Thirds series we finally get to see Sebastian and Hudson get back together. Hudson and Seb had been together as a mated couple until a tragic accident broke them up seven years prior. This has been an ongoing story line since the beginning of the series and one that most fans have been anxiously awaiting for.

The plot picks up shortly after the last book ended. Dex and Sloane are moving to another branch of government work and because he helped Dex in the past, Hudson is now involved. In addition, the mysterious Wolf keeps showing up and helping Hudson out of dangerous situations.

The story was fast paced and filled with action scenes as the complicated plot continues. More secrets are unveiled and while the guys get some questions answered, they find out there are still a lot of things they don't know.

In the midst of the action, Hudson comes to the realization that he's wrongly pushed Sebastian away and they work on rebuilding their relationship. This was sweet and had some touching moments.

This book would not work well as a standalone. This series has an overall arc in each book and they build on each other. If you're already read this series though, I think you will enjoy this installation.

Book Blurb for Darkest Hour Before Dawn

Sequel to Thick & Thin

THIRDS Team Leader Sebastian Hobbs and Chief Medical Examiner Hudson Colbourn are as much in love now as they were nearly seven years ago when a tragic event on the job destroyed their relationship. The two drift together only to be pulled apart time and time again. When Hudson draws the interest of dangerous enemies, both within and outside the organization, Seb wants nothing more than to protect the man who still means everything to him.

As life-and-death events, an uncertain future, and startling truths draw Hudson and Seb to each other yet again, they must make a choice: trust their love and take strength from what they share, or lose what matters most… for good this time.
