The twin brothers are trouble. Dakota Hendrix knew that right from the beginning when they entered the reality show. Although they are trouble in her mind they are great for the show’s ratings. Everybody likes them on the show except their old brother, Finn Anderssen. As a TV producer she knows what makes a great story on the TV but Finn doesn’t want that for his brothers. As the oldest he had to raise them himself and feels somewhat of a father to them. Dakota knows that they mean fun but seeing how troubled Finn is about the whole show she must do something to calm him down. Something about Finn gets her libido going and she knows this can’t be right. Her main goal is to make sure people know about her town, Fool’s Gold. The town needs men and it is up to her get the word out. Can she make it happen when all she wants is Finn Anderssen to herself?
He has had it with his brothers. Finn knew that ever since their parents passed away it was up to him to take charge. Yet he never expected this from them, joining a reality TV show. He always thought they would do things to just get him angry but this goes over the top. Dakota Hendrix doesn’t know anything about his troubles but seeing her in action is a laugh. Finn knows how his brothers operate and boy sure is it fun to see Dakota try to manage them. They think they had it hard with him being the overprotective brother but seeing Dakota is making him rethink his plans to get them back to their hometown. She is fun, sensual, and sexy. But she is not a woman he needs in his life right now. His career is about to skyrocket and he knows a woman like her can change everything. Can he just forfeit his career and have fun like his brothers have been telling him for years to do?
Two words for Susan Mallery’s latest is Oh My. Right from the beginning we have Dakota Hendrix trying to make her town a success and a man, Finn Henderssen, trying to get some peace and quiet in his life. Nobody expected the twins in the small town of Fools Gold. These two were a laugh to read from every silly antic they did to trying to bring Finn and Dakota together. Susan Mallery did a great job in showing that everybody needs a little fun and recklessness in their lives. I loved the entire story.
You can't win if you don't play...
Her town's lack of men may make headlines, but it isn't news to Dakota Hendrix. The beautiful blonde has bigger problems to deal with, such as overseeing the romance reality competition filming in Fool's Gold. Screening eligible bachelors is a difficult enough task, but Dakota hits an unexpected snag when a sexy stranger comes to town.
Finn Anderssen will do anything to keep his twin brothers— the perfect contestants— off the show. Despite Dakota's better judgment, she finds herself drawn to the mysterious outsider. Like her, Finn knows about heartbreak and how a family can fall apart, so she doesn't dare to hope for anything more than a fling. After all, even in the Land of Happy Endings, finding true love is never as easy as it looks on TV.
