Secrets of the Sapphires

Nia Brooks is a woman on a mission and in control of her own life. As an active agent for the paranormal division of the CIA, Nia is deep undercover on a mission that suddenly goes haywire and leaves her without a partner. Strong tempered, quick to anger, but with a heart of pure gold, Nia is not easy to partner, as Garrett Van Deren, her new partner, soon discovers. Just as quickly he determines there is no other partner who will work for him.

When a case comes across involving time travel and missing gemstones, Nia and Garrett are in the very thick of the mess. Toss in a few angry vampires and shape shifters, a mole in the CIA intent on destroying Nia, and the mess gets very bad very quickly. Can Nia and Garrett stop the vampires from perfecting time travel and keep the stones a secret? Can they get over their mutual fear of commitment to realize that they are perfectly suited to each other and learn to trust their hearts? More than all that, will Nia ever learn to accept that Garrett truly cares for her as she is, in spite of all her idiosyncrasies?

Secrets of the Sapphires is a rocking, laugh out loud good time. It has plenty of suspense and plenty of romance, with just enough sassy attitudes to make it a blast to read. Romance and adventure awaits those willing to step into its pages.

P.S. The plot twist at the end is positively mind blowing… makes for a supremely interesting twist to the story. Bravo! A brilliant roller coaster ride from start to finish.
