Divide & Conquer

Cut & Run Series, #4

Months after their adventure in Fish and Chips Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are back in Divide and Conquer for another adventure.

Both men are assigned to the Baltimore Maryland office and the city is in distress when a series of bank robberies, bombing and rising violence fan the public outrage. The FBI decides that maybe a little public relations between the people, FBI and police force might help with some of the tension. Ty is assigned to the municipal softball teams and Garrets is assigned to give workshops and lectures. The bomber then targets Ty at the softball games by planting a bomb on the fields and in Ty's beloved bronco. Ty is fine after his car explodes but later Zane is injured when a bomb explodes in a shopping mall. Ty takes Zane to his home to recuperate and heal.

Some of Ty's Marine friends show up and Ty outs himself about him and Zane being lovers. But they are being pulled in different directions because of the city's strife.

Will Ty and Zane survive the bombs and the violence or will it tear them apart as well as the city?

Divide and Conquer was well worth reading. I was waiting for it to come out and tell what happened after Fish and Chips. Now the ending has set it up for another one to add to this storyline. I am anxiously looking forward to the next book.

Divide and Conquer tells of another chapter in Ty and Zane's relationship. It adds more depth and character to their growing love for one another. When Zane is injured and Ty steps forward like he did it showed another side of Ty that I liked. The sex got hotter still and more passionate then the last book. It added to the storyline making it even better. I will gladly recommend this one as well. If you haven't read the other books go back and get them to read as well.

Book Blurb for Divide & Conquer

Baltimore, Maryland, is a city in alarming distress. Rising violence is fanning the flames of public outrage, and all law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are catching blame. Thus the FBI’s latest ideas to improve public relations: a municipal softball league and workshops for community leaders. But the new commitments just mean more time Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett have to spend apart when they’re happily exploring how to be more than by-the-book partners.

Then the latest spate of crime explodes in their faces—literally—throwing the city, the Bureau, and Ty and Zane’s volatile partnership both in and out of the office into chaos. They’re hip-deep in trouble, trying to track down bombers and bank robbers in the dark with very few clues, and the only way to reach the light at the end of the tunnel together requires Ty and Zane to close their eyes and trust each other to the fiery end.
