The Griffin's Secret

I’m not particularly a lover of fantasy / paranormal reads, but I must say I loved this one! I liked how the author, Cate Masters, was able to present this well written story to the reader. The Griffin’s Secret is a re-telling of Grimm's classic fairy tale. You will be hooked into this story from the very start.

Jackson Grant is a tattooed motorcycle man. He is off to the West Coast to be a roadie for the rock band Malcontent. He meets Layla who is off limits to him. Now, why was that?

The author did an excellent job of fitting this Grimm's Tale into a rock music world. I found the characters for the most part were all well developed, defined and believable giving the reader a well told and captivating story. I will say I liked most of the characters including both Jackson and our heroine Layla. But there was one that I didn’t like as much. You will just have to pick up this good read to see just who that was and also get the rest of the story!

Questions will be answered as to ...why was Jackson Grant cursed and what will it take to break this curse that had been given to him? Be prepared for a lots of twists and turns. The author doesn’t skimp on suspense. Readers will be intrigued and pulled into the story quickly. I did enjoy the conclusion of this story. No cliffhangers here!
