Lost in a Royal Kiss

A Renegade Royal Novella, Renegade Royals, #.5

What a thoroughly enchanting story. It is a novella that sets the stage for the upcoming Renegade Royals series, and what a wonderful setting is made. The characters we meet in this book we will meet in future novels, and they are smart, sassy, and utterly fabulous in every way. The storyline is quite extensive for a novella, and will continue to grow and develop as the story goes on through the rest of the novels. I absolutely loved this book, and I simply can’t wait to dive into the next book, Secrets for Seducing a Royal Bodyguard. Romance fans seeking a sweet and sexy romance with heart and just enough spice should look no further. This book will definitely fit the bill.

Linnet St. Clare has always put her family’s welfare before her own, as a good daughter should. With her mother working in the palace, she is left to raise her younger siblings on her own, which she willingly does. There have been no major problems at all; that is, until her very headstrong brother Dominic manages to raise the ire of the King himself. In an effort to save her brother from himself, she approaches the one man she most reveres, and is most wary of, Sir Anthony Tait. Sir Anthony hears her out, and agrees to take on the boy’s case. But his interest in Dominic isn’t all out of the goodness of his heart. Sir Anthony is also trying to find a way to get closer to Linnet. Sir Anthony and Linnet will have to find a way to work together to save Dominic from a terrible fate, and in the meantime, perhaps, two very stubborn hearts may find a way to become one.

Book Blurb for Lost in a Royal Kiss

In this thrilling introduction to her Renegade Royals series, Vanessa Kelly transports readers to the court of King George III--where a London street urchin unwittingly plays Cupid, ushering in a new era--and ultimately a new kind of royal...

With her widowed mother working long hours as governess to the royal children, Linnet St. Clare must look after her siblings and run the household. Now she must add to her worries the fate of Dominic, a poor orphan who has inspired the wrath of the king himself. Clearly Linnet has no time to consider her own desires--much less notice the attentions of a certain handsome, powerful magistrate...

Sir Anthony Tait is at a loss for how to capture Linnet's interest. If only she would be still long enough for courting. Outright seduction seems the only answer. But will his kisses be enough to persuade her--or might Anthony have something to learn from young Dominic about matters of the heart? And in saving the boy's future, might Anthony and Linnet at last create their own?...
